My artistic practice is a dynamic exploration of feminism, environmentalism, and self-discovery, expressed through a vibrant interplay of mediums. I utilize a combination of acrylic paint, spray paint, airbrush techniques, and markers, layering these elements to create complex entanglements of brushstrokes and marks. This approach invites spontaneity and intuition into my work, as I do not plan out my paintings before starting and instead allow the painting to evolve organically. Each piece becomes a journey, guided by the unfolding narrative of the canvas itself.
My art serves as a means for me to explore my beliefs and passions, offering a platform for both personal reflection and broader societal commentary. The themes of feminism and environmentalism resonate deeply within me, driving my investigation into the interconnectedness of these vital issues. I am continually motivated by the idea that my best work is still ahead of me, fueling a curiosity that compels me to push boundaries and challenge conventions.
Creating art is not just a practice for me; it is a transformative experience that fosters growth and understanding. I strive for my work to resonate with viewers, inviting them to engage in their own explorations and reflections. My hope is that through this visual dialogue, others will find inspiration and insight, mirroring my own journey of discovery. In every piece I create, I seek to connect and provoke thought—both within myself and in those who encounter my art.
